How NOT to fix the budget

Leave it to the County Board of Supervisors (Ray Carroll, not withstanding, the only decenting voice on this...) to decide that fixing the budget woes would best be done by dumping former County Workers (retired) from the County's Health Care rosters.  Not that the county is paying for their healthcare, but providing accessability at a reasonable rate.  Thereby doubling, or more, their costs in their retirement years.

That's the County's way of saying "Thanks for your years of service!"

What to do with an old computer

What to do with an Old Computer?  It's as easy as visiting the Pima Computer Recycling Center at 1134 South Park Avenue.

PCR/RISE serves residetns and faith-based and community organizations throughout Pima County by creating employment opportunities through recycling and allows businesses and donors to support non-profit agencies and other organizations by donating computers, electronics, office furniture, and other usable goods.  Rise was awarded the Arizona Diamondbacks Foundations Grand Slam Award.

You can call them at (520) 623-7162  or visit them at www.computerecycling.org

Hey!  Do you know of any other recycling programs here in Pima County or other ways to recycle old electronics?  add a comment.
